Title: 1954 Built An Obsolete Part For My Snow blower With A 3D Printer
Post by: Galaxy Admin on June 04, 2015, 08:21:18 PM
My Auger Housing has been broken for almost a decade. This is a part that allows the auger to turn for the chute to go back and forth. I gave 1954 the original part glued back together as best I could and a pdf drawing from a parts manual. The results are below. The part is Green. The Auger is Gray.

Glad you got your machine fixed after a decade!
1954 thanks for your time and talent. Outstanding work!
Another reason planetx kicks ass. Feel sorry for all those that didn't want to join our family!

I've been looking to get a 3d printer, but my money situation went south because of someone else. Prices will drop to nothing and everyone will have one pretty much. They are great things!!

The 1st $100 3d pinter hit the market last week. I read about it on 3ders.org
It hasn't hit this list yet, but this link is about the best  of what's out there.
I paid $799 for mine. A clone of the 2500$ Makerbot Replicator 2.
