Neat little video on the history of the venerable Proto Pipe. 

Quite novel in design robustness and reliability (especially for their time), these little jewels really are bulletproof and life-resistant.

A bit pricey, but an absolutely worthwhile investment.  One would be hard pressed to find a better 'pocket bowl', IMHO.

Makes me smile to see the old bros doing the machining.  :biggrin

I have had a proto pipe or two since discovering them almost 35 years ago, you can store almost a dime bag's worth of weed in the stash, if you clean it first

I'm sure any patent is long since expired, but that's lower'n whale shit. 

Importing clones from China, making a new poker, and some dubious 'remanufacuring' with a big USA sticker?!

I could even understand someone doing something similar (EG is very pro-small-machinist), but at very least come up with an original design, damn.

Somebody desperately needs cunt-punted straight the fuck through life's goalposts for that kind of thing, that's all I'm sayin'.
