Prince 1958 to 2016 RIP
« on: April 21, 2016, 02:56:03 PM »
Back in 2004 when I lived in Henderson. NV close to Las Vegas I went to his Musicology Tour at The Mandalay bat casino Hotel. Awesome concert
Funny thing is I was playing one of his Greatest Hits CD's on the drive down from WA to AZ. RIP Prince you will be missed!

Saw him on the 1999 and Purple Rain tours. A great musician and performer.  Guess sometimes it snows in April and love isn't love until it's past...RIP.
I've been crawling on my belly
 Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own chaotic
 And insecure delusions.

I wanna feel the change consume me,
 Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
 Cleansing I've endured within

For real it's a bad year to be a celebrity.  Bowie, Alan Rickman, Prince, Chyna and others. RIP dudes.

It feels good to be running from the devil
Another breath and I'm up another level
It feels good to be up above the clouds
It feels good for the first time in a long time now

People didn't often give him credit for his fantastic guitar playing skills and compositions.

Prince was one hell of a musically gifted SOB!

Played numerous instruments, singer, prolific songwriter, producer, and his positive affect on other musicians is undeniable. We lost a great one today, another icon like Bowie...

I have been amazed lately to find out that Prince was donating much of his wealth to
folks who needed the help & was doing so anonymously!

I never knew just how great he was!
