An inspired french beekeeper who goes by the name Nicolas Trainerbees trained his bees to make honey from cannabis. According to Trainerbees, the bees are unaffected because they lack cannabinoid receptors, so they can make the honey just as they would from any other plant. He has trained them to collect the resin and take it back to their hives, where the use it like any other honey.
Trainerbees is an advocate of both medical marijuana and complete legalization of marijuana. He is also an avid beekeeper who claims he has trained his bees to make honey from anything, including even fruit instead of flowers. He says that the Canna Honey he has the bees make is healthier than other cannabis because it has been processed through the bees
