I'm still loving the easy access to high grade named strains, but there are so many fun things out there now! Delta8, CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN, High THCA hemp, high quality low THC Hemp, etc. I feel like a kid in a candy store these days...

I would definitely recommend experimenting a bit. You can get high quality extracts from numerous places and it's incredibly simple to make tinctures or edibles with them.

I've been using quite a bit of Delta8 these days. It's amazingly cheap, potent and versatile! What I really like about it, though, is that it's a great day time high. It gets you there, but the high is much more clear headed than D9. I tend to go for the high grade D9 when I don't have any major responsibilities these days. CBN and CBC are definitely great choices. CBC tends to potentiate other noids, and CBN is the relax mode noid. If you want a pick me up then CBG is another fine noid. There's also quite a bit of high CBG hemp flower on the market these days if you want to check it out.

And, I'm still majorly in to kratom, too. Luckily, I've always kept my tolerance in check, so small doses of high quality leaf still get me there.

In that scenario, I have a Smok Nord 4 loaded up with some D8 distillate with terps around 5%. Straight D8 works just fine, too. Stealth mode pretty much anywhere with that one!

Hey, saw your chat comments about CBD not being that effective, KT. You need to introduce yourself to high THCA based hemp. Essentially, it's old school MJ that leverages the Farm Bill which specifically made D9 or straight up THC at .03 percent the legal standard. Long story short, I've been able to acquire some really nice buds at a fair price that will actually get you there. What's cool about this hemp is that it has elevated THCA levels that convert to THC once heated/decarbed. Has been fantastic for making edibles at a fair price. It's also nice because it still has a good amount of CBD in it which has been bred out of most higher end MJ these days. Think more therapeutic effects but still a nice buzz. Gets rid of the anxiety/paranoia that some get when burning high % regular bud.

The biggest issue with this hemp is that several vendors have jumped on the train and are charging more for their stuff than the real deal. That's stupid, but can't blame them for taking advantage when folks are snapping this stuff up in minutes when it drops. There are still some really nice deals out there to be had if you know where to look though.

Hemp and Cannabis are the same exact plant. Not cousins or relatives. You have some low THC cannabis that has above average levels of THC than what is legally being sold as hemp.

True that. When I say hemp it's more of a legal definition at this point. Some hemp farmers are taking advantage of the hemp laws that state that the naughty stuff is THC so THCA is just fine in pretty much any concentration. Of course, like you said THCA converts to THC when heated so...

I'm really impressed with some of the products in this space. I regularly burn 15 - 30% flower and some of this 'hemp' hits very well. It's also nice having some bud with a bit of CBD content in it, too. Believe the laws will change sometime next year, so there may be a limit on how long they can get away with selling it legally, however.

And thanks for the D8 tip. I'm pretty much stocked for Armageddon at this point, but I'll hit you up when I need to add some more.

I am consuming more cannabis products now than any other  time my life and I am a old man working full time as a engineer. I do not remember a day that I didn't get stoned someway. Last time I remember not using was the day before the drug test that won me my job.

The Delta-8 pre-rolls I tried seem like decent mids, from the days when who knew what strain you were smoking. They smoke like every hemp joint I've ever head. Local Kratom shop sells D8 prerolls for 9.99. But weed prices here are so low here right now I can go to the dispensary and get a 1 gram pre-roll of cannabis strain starting at 6 bucks. One of the dispensaries near me sells 100 dollar ounces every Friday, but you don't know what strain it is till you buy it.

A few of the sativa strains make me jittery, especially since I drink coffee too. So I've been trying to stick with indicas or nicely balanced hybrids.
