Unsafe levels of yeast and mold were found in Harvest Batches marijuana produced by Beddor Claude LLC in testing by the Colorado Department of Revenue and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Cannabis sold from Sept. 23 to Oct. 11 at Chronic Therapy in Wheat Ridge should be returned or destroyed, according to a news release from The Colorado Department of Revenue and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. If buyers have medical effects after using the marijuana, they should submit the Marijuana Enforcement Division Reporting Form.

According to the news release, the CDPHE and DOR announce a threat to public health and safety when marijuana contains levels of total yeast and mold above the limits set in the Colorado Marijuana Rule 4-115, which are 10,000 colony-forming units per gram.
