I think this is an actually an extraterrestrial posing as an Octopus. Or a mutant who is a good candidate to join the X-men...

Wow. This thing has to be intelligent. I wonder how it would compare to a Dog or a Human. They learn shapes and movement, remember them, and can reproduce them and copy them.
That is nuts. I'm sure that has to take a functioning intelligent brain. I wonder how many shapes and styles of locomotion a mimic octopus can remember at a time.
