So sorry to hear this,
I had to have my 14 y/o dog put down a couple months ago
It's so sad to survive a pet, they just don't last long enough

Deepest sympathies, KT.  I would say that the pain of losing our animals is as great as any family, but it is more so, because their hearts are so purely innocent, and their love for us is as boundless. Love and strength to you, brother.   :'(

My cocker is so old, can see her shoulder and hip bones, vertebrae.  Any day now...

There's an American Indian legend I like to think on.  Don't remember which tribe... they say if we're good to our animal friends that they'll find us when we walk the star road and help us on the journey.

Thank you KT for being such a good friend to Bugger, bless you buddy.

Sorry for your loss, KT.

There's no doubt that our animals make a huge impact on our lives, their hearts/loyalty are true, and it's always so sad to see them go. Sounds like you didn't give up on ole Bugger, though, and you gave him a long and happy life. Stay strong and remember the great times you had with him. I like to think that they live on as long as we do, and maybe we'll be lucky enough to see them again one day.

Kt I am so sorry for your loss. Bugger had a good long life for a dog and it was because of all the love and good care that you provided him! He was by your side and a good friend during your travels the past 14 years as you were to him. Hold on to those memories y'all made. He was truly your best friend as you were to him.
