Ruckus Blends Board Deleted
« on: December 18, 2013, 06:48:19 PM »
Not sure WTH is going on with this guy but he is no longer a vendor. He went into lurker mode 3 weeks ago.
It feels good to be running from the devil
Another breath and I'm up another level
It feels good to be up above the clouds
It feels good for the first time in a long time now

That's weird. He came here for only a little bit and disappeared. No one sent him money and didn't get anything?

It was also strange that his real name appeared on the emails. I told him, he changed to ruckus, then the next week saw his real name again. Was fishy to me....

Probably a good idea, the guy became inactive sorta quick..

My guess is that he got spooked when he forgot to change his name in outlook and started blasting his actual personal info in all his communications. LOL :D

Dude was on the forum for a long time, too, under his 'normal user' account. Strange.

So if someone got his Outlook info only a step or two more to go further, Can we even be sure who is logging in using his info and lurking? Other than coming from the same IP address, which it may or may not depending how they login. SO even that does not tell the whole story. I would treat that account as compromised and delete if he does not respond fairly quickly.

just my two cents and security best practices. I would also start looking at logs... but just my training taking over. I assume nothing and look at everything.

Giving him the benefit of the doubt here, but possibly has an alias?
There are a lot of peeps in this industry that establish a completely different name.
Not just something like SpongeJack McBlender Pants.

I'm gonna hope this is the case anyways.

Checking logs now....

Nothing fishy to be honest. Not even something little as multiple IPs.

If I had to guess from here, it would be he got so upset off all the Hard Heads around here and split. (Bad Reviews)
He said he was making money locally, so I would imagine he bounced out on other paths instead of adjusting to here.

Gotta go where the flow is I suppose, and if more was elsewhere, why stay?
It would only lead to making stronger blends just for Planet X, and not upping his prices....
I know which route I would go anyways if that were my decision. LOL.

That is my assessment. To each their own.  :biggrin
